Some days just don’t go by your plan. The meeting shifts, the deal stalls, the timing feels off. Coach Wooden’s line is a reminder: the “best” isn’t automatic. We don’t control what or who shows up, but we do control what we make of it.

So today, when something goes sideways, try this: hit pause for a minute and, instead of “Why is this happening to me?” ask, “What can I make of this?”
